I grew up in wonderment of the starry night skies and fluid lava tide pools of Hawaii. I marveled at the various levels of magnification that could reveal the unseen, transforming tiny tide pools into vast oceans, dirt piles into super-volcanoes, and the backyard jungle into an alien world teeming with life. I was constantly surrounded by a mesmerizing microcosm of complex colors, melted textures, and fractal patterns, which continues to inspire me today to recreate those altered experiences.

I delve into both the natural and supernatural realms. I encourage us to recognize our connection to the various magnifications and levels of the beautiful cosmos. My artwork serves as visual aids to create unique stories, explore perspectives as art, and encourages reflection and unification with our senses and limitless imagination. I believe that art has the power to transport us to other realms, and my work explores the primacy of experience and imaginative perspective as the art itself.
