Shipping and Returns

1. Shipping


All artwork is made-to-order. Production time varies by medium, size, and finish — typically 7–21 business days, but longer for oversized or complex pieces (we will notify you if >30 days). Shipping timelines begin only after production is complete and the piece has passed final quality inspection.

Domestic orders within the United States are shipped via insured carriers (FedEx, UPS, or USPS) with tracking and signature required on pieces valued over $1,000.

International orders are shipped DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) whenever the destination country and carrier permit. If DDP is not available or is refused by customs, the order converts to DAP (Delivered At Place) and the buyer is solely and exclusively responsible for all import duties, customs fees, taxes, VAT, clearance charges, and brokerage fees. We will not refund or reimburse any such costs under any circumstances.

Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer the moment the artwork is handed to the carrier. After that point, any loss, damage, or delay is between the buyer and the carrier/insurer. We are not liable for carrier delays, customs holds, or “porch piracy” once proof of delivery is issued.

2. Returns & Refunds – Physical Artwork


Because each piece is produced or finished to the buyer’s specifications, all sales are final. A refund or replacement will be considered only if the artwork arrives damaged and the buyer completes the full documentation process below.

*For artworks valued over $5,000, we require the unboxing video to be live-streamed or recorded with location services enabled in addition to the following.

*We recommend buyers film the unboxing of every art piece as a precaution — this protects both parties and is required for any claim (visible or concealed).

A. Required Documentation within 48 Hours

To initiate a damage claim, the buyer must email Cameron@cegart.com within 48 hours of delivery and provide the following:

• One continuous, unedited video beginning before the box is opened and showing the full unpacking process and the damage in real time (no cuts, no pauses, no editing) that:

  • begins with the sealed box in frame

    – shows the shipping label

    – records the entire unboxing process in real time

    – ends with the artwork fully revealed and the damage clearly visible

• At least five original, unedited photos showing showing clearly:

• the exterior of the shipping box (all six sides)

• the shipping label

• all interior packaging materials exactly as recieved

• the full artwork removed from packaging

• close-up of the the specific area of damage

• All files must be original, unedited files with intact metadata from the device

Claims submitted without the complete documentation set are not eligible for refund or replacement.

B. Studio Verification and Return Requirement

All damage claims are subject to independent verification by the Studio. Verification may include:

• additional requested photos or video

• a shipping carrier damage investigation

• return of the artwork for physical inspection

If a return is required, the buyer is responsible for return shipping, insurance, and proper packaging unless otherwise arranged in writing. Refunds or replacements are issued only after the returned artwork is received and the damage is confirmed through inspection.

Failure to return the artwork when requested voids the claim.

C. Concealed Damage

Damage that is not visible from the exterior of the package (e.g., frame warping, canvas tears hidden by backing board, or internal crate damage) must be reported within 7 calendar days of delivery. We recommend buyers film the unboxing of every high-value or framed piece as a precaution — this protects both parties and is required for any claim (visible or concealed).

The same strict documentation requirements apply without exception:

• One continuous, unedited video showing:

– the sealed box on arrival

– the full opening and unpacking process in real time

– the moment the concealed damage is discovered

• At least five original, unedited photos of:

– the still-sealed exterior box (all six sides)

– the shipping label

– all interior packaging exactly as received

– the artwork fully removed

– the concealed damage clearly visible

• All files must be original, unedited with intact metadata.

Claims missing any of these items, or reported after 7 days, will be automatically denied, no exceptions.

D. Exclusions

Refunds are not provided for:

• buyer remorse

• differences between screen color and printed color

• changes of mind

• incomplete documentation

All sales are final unless the Studio approves a claim through the full verification process.

3. EU/EEA Consumer Withdrawal Right


If you are a consumer in the European Union, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for off-the-shelf (non-custom) items. This right does not apply to clearly personalized or custom-made artwork (Article 16(c) Consumer Rights Directive). For eligible non-custom items, contact us within 14 days of receipt; return shipping is at your expense and the item must arrive in new condition.

4. Commissions & High-Value Purchases


All commissions, one-of-a-kind works, and purchases over $5,000 require a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit (minimum 50 %). Deposits and payments are non-refundable once production or design work has begun.

5. Digital Products, NFTs & Licensing


Digital files, NFTs, printable downloads, and custom wrap designs are non-refundable once access is granted or the file is downloaded.
Usage rights are strictly defined in the purchase receipt or separate license agreement. Copyright is never transferred unless explicitly stated in writing.

6. Chargebacks & Disputes


Filing a chargeback or payment dispute for a valid transaction constitutes breach of these terms. You agree to pay all associated fees, chargeback costs, and reasonable attorney fees if the Studio prevails.
